ZakoSpeed 2 is Dudek Paragliders answer to new, trendy needs of speedriding & speedflying. It is not a full-grown paraglider, so Zako must not be used for altitude or aerobatic flying.

On the other hand, there is nothing against its use in groundhandling – in fact, it is even better suited to it than a normal wing, presenting a great opportunity to acquaint yourself with paragliding.

Speedriding is downhill skiing or snowboarding brought into new dimension. The experience is enhanced with reduced performance wing, allowing you to make some hops on the way down – kind of moon-walking over moulds and obstacles. 

With slightly better performing craft a skier will be able to spend more time with the air, so instead of fast skiing with some hops it will be fast, low flying with some touch & go’s.

As you can see, the border line between speedriding and speedflying is rather vague – and that’s exactly the zone where our ZakoSpeed 2 dwells, allowing for incredible mix of three-dimensional winter experience.

Lightweight paragliding separation carabiner.

The Finsterwalder PARALOCK is a paragliding carabiner with convenient handling and long replacement interval for mono and tandem use.

With a conventional paragliding carabiner, separation under load is hardly possible. 

However, in certain situations this can not only be useful but even life-saving - e.g. when landing in moving water or in strong winds. 

Also after an emergency parachute deployment, it may be necessary and in any case recommended to disconnect the paraglider. 

The PARALOCK eliminates the need to carry a line cutter or to pull in the paraglider which costs valuable time.

The PARALOCK's separation function is also useful in other sports, for air and water rescue, and in parachute harnesses.

Lightweight and durable

The PARALOCK weighs only 73 g and is equally suitable for Hike & Fly as well as for tandem paragliding. 

Due to their form-fit design, the PARALOCK and the QUICK-OUT are to date the only air sports carabiners that have been able to demonstrate an approved replacement interval of 8 years 

for mono use and 5 years for tandem use. 

The PARALOCK is also suitable for use in hang gliders, where the replacement interval is 5 years. The number of flight hours is unlimited within the replacement interval.

The wing is small, light and easy to use. The control system, risers and line colors are the same as in the Nemo 4 school wings, which will facilitate their mastering at later training stages.

This is the first thing you’ll notice when you’ll take a SYS'Nav XL in your hands! 30% larger than its little brother’s, 

the 2.7'' screen has an active matrix reflective technology similar to the one used in the SYS'Evolution. 

The advantages for the pilot:

- Optimum readability outdoors (the more sun, the more contrast)

- Lower consumption (80% less than a traditional screen and no need for

backlighting)

Moreover, the resolution of the screen (400x200 pixels) has been dramatically

improved (22 times more precise than the SYS'Nav V3 screen) with a spacing

between each pixel of 0.147mm (by comparison, it is 0.152mm on the

SYS'Evolution). The pilot can display more information and details on the same

screen. The display is also more pleasant to the eye.

ANTI-G

 The “Anti-G” drag parachute is a safety device that allows safer spiral descents by reducing the G force in a spiral dive. This system is very simple to use and works with any type of glider.

 To attach Anti—G to X-Rated 6, a special pocket has been designed, passing from right to left, with a karabiner inside used to attach the

bridle of the small drag chute. This pocket is at the bottom behind the seat; it is easy for the pilot to find as it is located just above the air inlets

on the side of the harness. 

To properly use the drag parachute, simply open the zipper on the right or left (depending on which side you intend

to spiral), extract it, and deploy it before initiating the spiral. 

The advantages of using it are a higher sink rate and up to a 40% reduction in G-Force. 

You can descend in spiral and then disable the drag chute using the handle and land as normal with the Anti-G parachute deployed (butdisabled). 

Otherwise, once exiting the spiral, you need to disable it and then put it back in its pocket and close the pocket zipper. At this point it is

ready to be used again.

WARNING:

To ensure correct use of the “Anti-G” parachute it is important that you carefully read and understand the instructions included in the parachute manual.

The “Anti-G” braking parachute is optional equipment and can be purchased separately

The porosity test of the paraglider is aimed at reviewing the technical condition of the material.

Porosity is the basic parameter which shows, that the paraglider is still suitable for use.

The test is carried out by using a porosimeter from the Swiss company JDC Electronic SA, the parameter determining air porosity is the JDC unit.

The MK2 Porosimeter is the best in the world so far, and delivers the best indications in terms of fabric quality.

Other manufacturers make similar porosimeters, however they are far from perfect in many ways.

That is why, the MK2 quickly became the benchmark for measuring paraglider porosity.

Finsterwalder UNILOCK paragliding carabiner (pair)

Ultralight, universal paragliding carabiner

With a weight of only 45 g and a breaking load of more than 25 kN, the UNILOCK is currently the lightest and at the same time most loadable paragliding carabiners on the market.

In the fatigue test, it endured 2.000 load cycles with an upper load of 252 DaN and subsequently 5 min. load cycles with an upper load of 115,4 DaN. The UNILOCK thus achieves a fatigue strength of 5 years in mono use.
